It really shows how far I've come as a dancer since I only started taking contemporary my freshman year and that's when I decided to try and get better technically and get more flexible and stuff. It really shows (in my opinion) that if you want to do something and you work hard for it, anything is possible.
As someone who took three years to get their splits just on the right, I hope this inspires anyone else who has been thinking about doing dance (like ballet, contemporary, or jazz which all require similar technical backgrounds from my experience), but thinks it's too late: it's never too late. (Unless you want to go into a professional career in dance… and you're 35 or something and have never danced before… then it's kinda late…)
